Men’s Over 55’s League

Babbacombe bowls club started their league campaign, this week, in the Men’s Over 55’s league.  The results are below :
“V” Division against Torbay Country Club
M.Kelly, A.Pallett and P.Johnson lost by 16 shots to 19
K.Fursdon, A.Chadwick and D.Crown won by 25 shots to 8
Overall result Babbacombe(6pts) beat Torbay Country Club(2pts) by 41 shots to 27
“W” Division against Victoria
P.Moodie, D.Andrews and R.Levy won by 17 shots to 16
B.Bond, A.Silman and D.Deakin lost by 8 shots to 22
Overall result Victoria(6pts) beat Babbacombe(2pts) by 38 shots to 25.

Short Mat League Cup

Ladies Captain’s Day

On Saturday 4th September 2021 our Ladies Captain, Sue Perdue, hosted the Ladies Captain’s Day.  The weather was kind and everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon of bowling followed by food and drinks in the Clubhouse.
